After many years (20) we have decided to do our training in the New York Metro area as one on one instructions. This means that our hours fill up fast.This is the original school in NYC that was founded for adults.. So we are very mature we can help you .We are experienced with all levels of fear. Let us say Fear is healthy if you do not know what you’re doing I do not want you jumping into 6ft of water. There is alot to go over. with water safety and lap swimming.
(Look up Aquaskills NYC on You Tube you will see the videos going back to 2003 and all of the press.We now consider Aquaskills LLC a practice” and we are now “practitioners” so it is less formal and less business oriented, meaning we do not expect you to buy a large number of sessions upfront with a non refundable clause. You take your package with few scheduled classes upfront ,so you can take it EASY.
We still carry CPR Lifeguard WSI, AEA and all the years of experience .I DO NOT I advise you learn from a non instructor a friend unless they have experience teaching..it could be dangerous,choking can happen in any depth of water.We STILL will do 2 ppl the same time you essentially share your time with 1 instructor-not suggested for someone with deep fear.
POST PANDEMIC NYC MANY POOLS HAVE NOW CLOSED DOWN….so it is hard to find a place to teach. Hence the the Adult does not do well in a group setting if they are a beginner, and they want to learn the coordination of breathing along with everything else it does not happen in a group. This is an athletic activity that you can do for the rest of your life .
THINK OF THIS AS AN ESSENTIAL SKILL. We will work for you this summer but we close our registration when we reach a certain number of clients
It is a small investment of time and money .
